Temporary workshops
for large vehicle maintenance and repair

Aluminium-framed, modular buildings are a great choice when you need temporary workshops and workshop facilities that are strong but can be relocated, extended and customised as needed. Our large vehicle workshops are commonly used when you need additional temporary or permanent workshop facilities for large vehicle garaging, servicing, repairs, wrapping and painting.

While our temporary workshop buildings provide the perfect space for car, van and motorcycle servicing bays, their aluminium framed, modular construction allows sizing up for much larger vehicles.  Walls heights of up to 8.3m accommodate double decker buses and other PSV, HGV, boats with keels, trains and emergency vehicles including fire engines. They can be used for heavy plant such as diggers, bulldozers, mobile cranes, road resurfacing machines and road rollers. Additionally, they’re ideal for farm machinery including harvesters, large four-wheel drive tractors and livestock transport vehicles.

Innovative workshop designs
for large vehicle maintenance

Modular, temporary workshops are designed and built to your needs up to 30m wide without internal pillars.  The wall and roof sections are 5m long so your heavy plant, boat, train, HGV or PSV workshop can be built as long as you want in 5m increments. They can be constructed over railway lines in sidings, over boatyard slipways and attached to or even inside existing structures. They do not need to be erected on purpose built foundations but provide more permanent workshop solutions when they are.

Canopies are more commonly used in boatyards and on railway property. They provide weather protection and great access via their open sides. Enclosed non-insulated or insulated large vehicle workshops have shutters doors for large vehicle access. Separate pedestrian doors keep foot traffic safely away from moving large vehicles. Mezzanine floors can be added internally for office space or storage.

Unlike traditionally built buildings, these modular workshops can easily be disassembled and moved, or extended, reduced or redesigned and modified during their working life. Single skin PVC roofing used on non-insulated large vehicle workshops allows lots of natural light through into the building. Insulated roof panels are double skinned and air filled to provide a thermal barrier over the workshop floor.

All our large vehicle workshops are certified that they’re assembled using appropriate fire resistant materials and are able to withstand high levels of wind and snow load.
