Providing much needed extra storage and warehousing space on site, this small, insulated warehouse is installed on a concrete base. It has a 4 x 4m sectional door at one end with a personnel door next to it. The sectional door is electrically operated and is supplied with dead man switch and manual hand crank.
Three pane, aluminium framed, double glazed windows down each side let in lots of daylight and have turn-tilt fittings for ventilation in warmer months.
To help keep it warmer inside the warehouse during winter months, the building is constructed with insulated 80mm thick sandwich panel wall sections and insulated 80/120mm thick sandwich panel roof. The roof and walls are mounted to an aluminium frame which is anchored to the concrete floor with anchoring plates and dowels. Steel wires and beams between the eaves provide additional stability, strength and building longevity.
Rainwater from the roof is effectively drained away through galvanized rain gutters with downpipes on both sides of the warehouse.
The exterior of the building is a modern mid-grey colour (RAL 9006).
