For a baseball team in the United States, we supplied a skyline canopy in two sections. The new grandstand protects spectators from the sun and rain and provides the perfect vantage point for watching the game in comfort.
The main grandstand canopy is 10m deep, 15m wide and 3m from floor to roof. The grandstand extension adds another 40m long seating area with the same roof cover. Both canopies have roofline and ground level hoardings for branded messages on the outside and the inside.
The anodized aluminium frames of both structures are modular and seamlessly connected but allow the seating area to wrap around the curved baseball ground perimeter.
High quality opaque white PVC roof sheets reflect sunlight and keep rain off the spectators. A strong wooden cassette floor system is supported by an aluminium substructure giving a load bearing capacity of 350kg/m².
The Skyline canopy can be customised with additional items such as double doors with tinted glass, and connecting modules between canopy structures system with gutters for rainwater drainage. You can also specify taller grandstand canopies with spectator seating raised to a greater height depending on the sport and location of the grandstand.
