We supplied 4 customized Perth event marquees for a garden centre in Sweden. Each was 10m wide and 25m long with 3m high walls.
The marquees were built round anodized aluminium profiles held together with steel connections. Secure anchoring using anchor plates and ground anchors meant the marquees were wind load tested up to 102km/h.
The double-layer PVC insulated roof was made of fire-retardant PVC and 5 of the sections were translucent to let in daylight. PVC rain gutters between the marquees collected rainwater from the roofs.
The double-layer thermal roof system combines with insulated walls to help provide optimum temperature control inside the marquees all year round. Integrated vents in the gable end triangles provide added ventilation and all gable triangles were printed with the customer's logo.
Ten side bays and 8 gable bays have insulated glazed panels in white aluminium frames. All remaining wall panels are insulated and opaque. In total, there are 5 double-leaf and 1 single-leaf glazed doors throughout.
With 250m² of floorspace per marquee, a strong floor was needed to support the goods for sale and heavy footfall of customers. This was made of wood with steel supports and is rated up to 350kg/m².
