In France, a 500 seat temporary event structure has just been completed for Jokers Comedy in Vevey. This temporary theatre in Lausanne was built in collaboration with Martinetti.
The Naftule Pavilion is erected between November to February every year to host over 100 shows. It is named after a famous Swiss author, producer, and director.
Optimized acoustics are produced in the polygon-shaped structure which is 20m wide, 65m long with a 4m eave height. The event building features a custom-designed, black and white, air-filled roof and insulating sandwich side panels. Additionally, the transparent Polyglass roof membrane allows light through for a bright atmosphere.
These elements all combine to create a comfortable and inviting environment for the many visitors.
