Why aluminium?
Advantages of light-weight buildings made of aluminium?
Reasons for a building made of aluminium?
Our light-weight buildings consist primarily of aluminium. Aluminium is a sustainable and recyclable material and at the same time it is inexpensive and has a comparable load-bearing capacity to structures made from different materials. In addition, it is possible to set up aluminium buildings without any foundations.
Renting or purchase?
Rent or purchase - what should I decide?
Advantage of renting

Approvals & structural analyses
When do I need a building permit?
Depending on the duration of use, building type, fastening and local requirements, there may be differing requirements for building permissions. For temporary structures pursuant to DIN EN 13782 it is usually sufficient to present an inspection log, rather than an elaborate building permit. For a permanent fixed building you usually require a building permit. The client is responsible for obtaining a building permit – we will gladly support you in this process.
What does temporary structure (DIN EN 13782) mean?
The main feature of temporary structures is that it is possible to repeatedly set them up and dismantle them at different locations. Upon request, an inspection log from HR-Structures is included with the delivery, thus providing the advantage of the simplified building permit procedure. Temporary buildings are usually permitted for a duration of three months. However, this can be extended. Fastening is solved by using pegs, however it can also be carried out by means of rawlplugs into an existing floor slab.
How will my building be fastened?
There are different options for fastening which deviate depending on the building type, duration of use and existing ground. Generally, temporary structures are fastened by means of pegs without a foundation and permanent structures are fastened onto a foundation by means of rawlplugs. Further options, e.g. adding ballast or concrete-free foundations can be clarified on request in individual cases.
Which accessories related to fire safety are available?
Depending on regulatory requirements, HR-Structures can deliver varies accessories relating to fire safety, e.g., emergency exit doors, smoke and heat exhaust systems, as well as ridge and wall light-bands. We recommend that clients order a fire safety inspection report beforehand.

Which building outline dimensions are possible?
The building systems from HR-Structures are available in a span width of 5.00 to 30.00 m (5 m increments) and a side height of 4.2 to 6.2 m (1 m increments). In addition, the length of their modular dimension (modular dimension depends on the building type) can be extended to any length. Special dimensions and multiple-aisle solutions can be produced individually on request.
Which materials are used?
PVC covers
Covers made of industrial PVC are extremely durable and depending on conditions subjected to, they can be used for many years. In addition to fast installations, quick replacement or repair is also possible in the event of damages.
Aluminium & steel parts
The main elements of the frame are made of extruded aluminium profiles in accordance with currently valid standards and structural analyses. The steel parts are galvanised and may therefore be provided with corrosion protection.
Trapezoidal sheet & sandwich elements
All building systems can be equipped with trapezoidal sheet as well as sandwich elements. The trapezoidal sheet is made of galvanised steel sheets and the sandwich elements are made of a polyurethane rigid foam core with different insulation thicknesses.

Which types of floor closing-off are possible?
The floor closing-off can be selected depending on the side panelling of the building type and the ground, e.g., by means of sealing tape, bituminous sheeting or other special end plates.
Installation on an incline?
Our light-weight buildings can be installed on an incline of up to 1% without any problems. In the event of greater unevenness of the floor, different solutions, e.g., shortening of the posts or underpinning of the individual supports can be used depending on the project.
Possible wind and slow loads?
In our standard product portfolio our light-weight buildings are optimised for all kinds of snow and wind loads. Here, a wind load of 0,5kN/m² and a snow load of up to 1,35 kN/m² is used as the basis. Of course, higher loads can be implemented for our buildings at any time.
