The owners of this site needed more food storage space on site but they couldn't see where they could put it. They had an existing building that wasn't suitable for food storage so, we created a new industrial warehouse that was semi-installed under the canopy of the existing building.
Measuring 15 x 35 m with 6.3 m high walls, the new warehouse is a temperature controlled building for perishable foodstuff. Insulation comes from 40mm thick PU filled sandwich panel walls and a two-layer PVC roof that traps a layer of insulating air. The PVC is fire-retardant and translucent to let daylight into the building.
Inside the building there's motion-controlled LED lighting and a full system of storage racking. There's a super-quick roller shutter speed door at the front, 2 personnel doors and rain guttering.
The strong warehouse is built around our aluminum profile frames with steel connectors providing maximum stability. The building is strong enough to support snow loads of up to 50 kg/m² and the entire warehouse is securely anchored to the existing concrete yard using anchor plates and dowels or ground anchors.
