These two insulated warehouses are built around custom aluminum frames with 8.3m walls, and are joined via a steel valley box gutter. The warehouses are 20 x 35 m and 11.5 x 30m and they were erected on concrete slab laid for this job. The twin structures are securely anchored to the concrete pad using anchor plates and dowels or ground anchors. The buildings were assembled by our experienced installers using specialist lifting equipment.
The warehouses' insulation is provided by double layer, translucent, air -filled PVC roof sections and 60 mm thick corrugated steel sandwich panel walls filled with PU foam. These are then finished at the bottom with steel edging. This aluminum framed design allows the building to withstand wind speed up to 23 m/s.
Three single and one double personnel door plus two insulated roller shutter doors give access to the interior which has a mezzanine floor, suspended ceiling, lighting and power outlets. Galvanized gutters and down pipes drain rainwater off the roof which supports snow loads up to 50 Kg/m².
